What to know about the Mazda 6e

Mazda prices the 6e electric sedan on a national drive-away campaign: $52,990 for the GT and $55,990 for the Atenza. Those figures already include registration, stamp duty and CTP, so the value FBT uses is lower still, and nowhere near $75,000.

Both versions share a 78 kWh battery and a quoted 560 km of WLTP range, so the Atenza's extra spend buys equipment, not distance. Mazda was also offering novated lease customers a cash-back on deliveries from October to December 2026; ask your provider how it fits into the lease. Next to the BYD Seal, the 6e's FBT position is the same, so compare them on the quotes. Mazda's drive-away prices are national, so unlike most makers' figures they don't change from state to state.
